Offline Map API is a toolkit that works with a map in offline mode. Map allows a user to add objects to the map, such as a Lines, Marks and Text objects. Objects are groupped by Layers. Offline Map API includes also measuring tools.

To be able to work Offline Map requires map cache to be installed. Installer includes 5 zoom levels of the Google satelite map that will be installed on your computer.
You may install higher zooms of the map with SAS.Planet open source program. Offline Map API can work with 1-24 zoom levels. Map tiles should be in"jpg", "jpeg", "png" or "gif" image formats.

Offline Map API installs several Examples, they'll help you to understand work with the toolkit.
